Full documentation

#1

Do you plan to add a full documentation?

I know about

http://symbolics.mathdotnet.com/

for Math.Net Symbolics and several special pages for Math.NET Numerics as for example:

http://numerics.mathdotnet.com/Matrix.html

But I would like to see something more detailed.

For Math.NET Numerics there’s also a class reference available, generated from the inline docs.

What do you mean by a full documentation, i.e. what would it look like?

#3

Yes, thanks, I know about it.
I mean, something like this:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee370273(v=vs.110).aspx
There is an example of use for even the most obvious functions

(Christoph Rüegg) #4

Yes, it would be great if we could reach such a level!

#5

Started writing documentation for Math.NET Symbolics in my native language - http://foggyfinder.github.io/index.html

Wow, this is great! Did you use some tooling to collect all the type information or was it all collected manually?

#7

The first few files were created manually. But later I decided to automate the process and wrote a few functions that use reflection to obtain information and create files automatically.
